Gently Fizz undid the drawstring, as if too heavy a hand might make the whole thing disintegrate. It opened. She turned it upside down, so that its contents dropped with a gentle tinkle onto her bed. It was an Elphen bracelet, at its centre the Elphen Eye Gem with its central golden-black iris. For just a moment the iris shone; a brilliant miniature sun. Fizz held her breath for quite some while, so that when she finally gasped, it actually hurt. Perhaps she was still in a dream.
