“Welcome to Paul Taggart’s Fine Art videos channel, featuring an occasional series of behind-the-scenes feature videos; in which we share the background to some of my Original Masterworks paintings.
These videos are by way of not only demonstrating my passion for the subjects I select, but also for the traditional techniques that I employ in my works of art. A passion that we also share in our online video art tutorials.
A step-by-step reveal of each painting shows the various principal stages that the work goes through. Whilst a walk-around the painting, takes the viewer through the ‘story’ behind the subject and the various aspects of the composition.
We hope that in sharing these behind-the-scenes features we are opening a window into the thought-processes that lie behind a composition and the techniques that go into every stroke of a painting, from the blank canvas to the finished artwork.”
